Overview

David Chapman practices in the areas of hazardous waste site remediation, administrative enforcement actions, and environmental response cost recovery and contribution litigation.  David’s matters include his providing consultations to clients investigating and remediating one of the first oil refineries in California, a hard rock mine site with over 100 years of activity by various owners and operators, and an abandoned geothermal energy investigation site alleged to be a source of mercury contamination.  David also practices in the area of environmental compliance counseling.

David is a former Judicial Extern and Law Clerk to the Honorable Joyce L. Kennard, Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court.
