Overview
Bill Marsh practices in the areas of environmental litigation (CERCLA cost recovery, RCRA injunctive relief, and state law tort claims), hazardous waste site remediation, administrative enforcement actions, and hazardous waste law compliance. He also practices in the area of California’s Proposition 65.
Bill previously practiced environmental law at the California Attorney General’s Office and the United States Department of Agriculture.
Significant Representations
Representing a client in the cleanup of a major former industrial site in conjunction with the Brownfield developer that purchased the site.
Representing a landowner in significant cost recovery litigation against its former tenant, a national waste disposal company.
Representing a client by drafting successful Ninth Circuit appellate brief on cutting-edge CERCLA contribution claims legal issue.
Representing a chemical manufacturing client, defending suit by landowners and distributor in multi-party CERCLA and state law contribution action arising from alleged chemical spills at distribution facility.
